1)Cleaning the apartment
pain to do: it's a lot of hassle, there are other things i want to be doing
pain of not doing: it makes me put off other things and i use it as an excuse to do nothing until it's done
pleasure to do: i feel so much better once it's done, ordered and good
pleasure to not do: it gives me some time to relax a bit if i force myself not to let it bother me so much
2)starting an excercise routine
pain to do: it will take up a lot of time and effort and organisation, i'm afraid my head will explode
pain of not doing: i'll feel tired, lazy, run down, not self confident, afraid of heart failure and death :S
pleasure to do: will give me endorphin rush, i'll feel happier more often regardless of circumstance, i'll feel more self confident
pleasure to not to: i'll save some time...
3) organise a diet
pain to do: will take time and effort and organisation, will be difficult to fully implement
pain of not doing: similar to above, i'll feel bad and unhealthy and rubbish and slow and unhealthy and unhealthy and unhappy :(
pleasure to do: i'll feel confident about cooking and happy i'm eating healthy food and that i'll live longer and happier and feel energized and alive
pleasure to not do: i'll save some time, i can gorge on crap food...
4) study japanese every day
pain to do: takes time, japanese is really hard, afraid i might not be good at it, it'll take a lot of time to get good at it
pain of not doing: i'll feel stupid and useless and i won't understand people here or be able to comunicate of make full use of my time here :(
pleasure of doing: oh, sooo much, the pleasure of learning a new language and speaking and impressing people and the gates of new media opening up to me and expanding my horizons and how wonderful it will be :D
pleasure of not doing: umm, can't think of any except...save a bit of time...
